The Diff Rokka cover of 'Let's go away' from the game Daytona USA.

I first remember hearing Let's Go Away at a game arcade at Lyme Regis Bay in England sometime in the mid 90s probably. At that time, most game arcades had a Daytona USA machine, and that song would blast out of the speakers and echo through the arcade. That infectious "Daytonaaa!" line was driven into my young, impressionable mind, and stuck with me for the rest of my life. In recent years I revisited the game and fell in love with the song all over again. It took me back to those fun days as a kid at the arcade, but I was also able to appreciate the song from the point of view of an adult musician. I started getting ideas to do a Diff Rokka version of it.

So here is my cover of Let's Go Away from Daytona USA. My homage to the great video game composer Takenobu Mitsuyoshi and the masterpiece that is Daytona USA.
